Billing and plans

What happens to my data if I downgrade to Free?

Nothing is deleted. Properties, tenants, payments, and expenses stay usable. Premium pages become locked and you cannot add a new property.

Nothing is deleted. Downgrading locks features, it does not remove records. Your properties, tenants, leases, payments, and expenses stay exactly as they were, and you can keep reading and editing them.

If you had more properties than the Free plan allows, those properties remain in the app. You simply cannot add another one until you upgrade again.

Tenants and leasesGenerating a new lease
Recording and editing paymentsUtility tracking
ExpensesMaintenance tracker

Unlimited exports

Locked pages show an upgrade prompt rather than an empty screen. The data behind them is untouched and comes straight back if you resubscribe.

Export before the period ends

The one thing worth doing ahead of time is the export, because report downloads are limited on the Free plan. Pull the CSV and the PDF summary for the periods you care about while Premium is still active.

What to do in ProperLease

  1. Open Reports and export the CSV and the PDF before the billing period ends.
  2. Cancel from Account.
  3. After the downgrade, check Properties and confirm everything is still listed.
  4. Resubscribe at any time from Account. Locked pages unlock immediately with their data intact.
Deleting your account is a different action

Downgrading keeps your data. Deleting the account removes it. See what happens to my data if I cancel.
